The Group C Era of endurance racing from 1982-1993 saw the evolution of the sports racing car from an analog, primarily aluminum racing car into the digital, primarily composite racing car we know today. The cutting edge materials and computer systems propelling astronauts into space were finding their applications in motorsport for the first time. Aerodynamic principles of ground effects which had made their first faltering steps in the late 1970s were now being refined and developed in wind tunnels of major manufacturers creating a balance of downforce and driveability that was unheard of just a few years earlier. Turbocharging revolutionized engine development, and CAD design took over from the drafting table resulting in dynamic new forms that became some of the most iconic racing cars in history.

Autodromo celebrates the dawn of the Digital Age with our Group C Sport Chronograph. The clean, slab-sided shape of the case echoes the rational aerodynamic forms of cars such as the Porsche 962C and the Sauber C9. The brightly colored pushers reference the fluorescent hued mirrors of Group C cars that allowed them to be differentiated at a distance at races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours. A chamfered sapphire crystal reveals a simple black and white LCD module with blue EL backlight that will take you back to the simplicity of a time when this basic tool was the proto-“smart watch.” The Group C watch can time laps (including split times), display the time and date with micro precision, and also has an alarm function. A reversible custom molded FKM rubber strap holds it to your wrist, and 20mm lugs mean you can swap in any of our leather straps for fun.

Watches.com will cover the cost for Standard International Mail* (orders over $249+) and Standard Domestic Mail (orders over $100+). Not all countries are eligible for free international shipping. Upgraded shipping options (estimated transit times and rates) will be quoted during checkout.

Watches.com has been shipping worldwide since 1999 and we ship internationally daily. Most orders are processed and shipped out by 5pm (MST) Monday through Friday on regular business days. Payment/fraud verification is typically instantaneous, but in some instances may take up to 48 hours. Orders placed/received after 12:00pm (MST) will be processed the next business day. Please be aware that UPS does not deliver on weekends.

Because customs fees vary by country, we do not collect duties during checkout. If duties are due, your customs agency will let you know when the package arrives in your country. It is your responsibility to pay these fees to your country.

Once items are shipped, liability is covered by the terms of the carrier. We will ship to the address specified by the customer. If you did not provide us with an accurate address, neither Watches.com, nor the shipping carrier can be held responsible for the loss of an item. Please double check your shipping address. Any shipping damage must be reported to Watches.com within 48 hours of delivery, otherwise it is ineligible for any insurance or refund claims.

Note:  Per Casio's policy, Casio and G-Shock watches are not eligible for International Shipping.  Any international order containing a Casio or G-Shock watch will be cancelled and all monies refunded.

We could all use some extra time. If your new, unworn item is not 100% to your satisfaction, you have 30 days from the original ship date to return it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn and in the same condition that you received it (including any protective stickers still on it). It must also be in the original packaging. More details can be found on our Returns page.  **Unfortunately Mystery watches are final sale and only eligible for return for store credit; a small restocking fee applies to these returns.

Warranty periods range from 12 months to lifetime, depending on the brand. All of the brands we carry come with their international manufacturer warranty.* All warranty issues are to be handled directly with the watch manufacturer, so be sure to keep your electronic invoice for proof of purchase from Watches.com as we're an authorized retailer. Contact the brand directly using the information in your warranty booklet or the manufacturer's website for complete warranty terms and repair instructions. Typically the manufacturer's warranty does not cover: battery, crystal, strap or bracelet; damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear; damage from contact with objects; water damage.
